The Railtown Tracy project is a component in a larger effort to establish the San Joaquin Valley Railroad Museum, which will serve as the centerpiece of the Downtown Tracy Historic Railroad District.

With outstanding amenities, including restaurants, entertainment venues, shops, lodging and transit, Tracy’s downtown area is perfectly suited to serve as a destination for this tourist attraction, which will include historical exhibits of vintage railroad equipment, photography, artifacts and ephemera, along with excursion train rides along routes serving this area.
